Can I register when I go vote?

Yes.

Idaho allows individuals to register at the voting place during early voting and on Election Day.

To register to vote in person, you will need a current photo ID and proof of residence. Register using your primary Idaho residence.

Who Can Register to Vote in Idaho?
  • Requirements to register:
  • Age 18 years or older
  • United States Citizen
  • Resident of Idaho for at least 30 days before the day of the election
  • Individuals with a felony conviction may not register until the terms of their sentence have been completed.

Here's a summary:

On the ballot, voters will decide on a property tax measure that directly affects the quality of education within our district: the Kuna School District Supplemental Levy.
  • 43 teachers: $3,359,360
  • Student technology and textbooks: $250,000
  • Total annual levy amount: $3,609,360 per year for two years

Idaho Disclosure: The estimated average annual cost to the taxpayer on the proposed levy is a tax of $65.48 per $100,000 of taxable assessed value, per year, based on current conditions.

The overall district property taxes per $100,000 of assessed value for 2025-26 if the supplemental levy passes are projected to be:
  • Tort Levy: $3.58 – Established in Idaho lawΒ 
  • Bond Levy: $84.56 – Previously approved by a supermajority of voters
  • Proposed Supplemental Levy if approved – $65.48
  • Minus State Property Tax Relief Funding (House Bill 292): – $38.86

Total projected school property tax: $114.76 per $100,000 of taxable assessed value.Β
