Eligibility & Start Date
Who starts on the first day?
Only students who are already eligible (current IEP on file) and enrolled in the ECSE Preschool program will begin school on Tuesday, September 2, 2025.
*Start dates, days, and services are determined by your child’s Individualized Education Plan (IEP).
You will also receive a personal ParentSquare message or email from Brenna with your child’s start date, teacher’s name, and the days and times they will be attending, sent prior to your child’s start date.

Parent Communication — ParentSquare
We use ParentSquare to share important information such as attendance notes, weekly updates, and school announcements. Please ensure you’ve set up the app and enabled notifications so you don’t miss messages from our team.
Transportation
Transportation Department: 208-922-1013 Request a Transportation Form from Brenna or call Transportation directly to begin the process. After the form is submitted, Transportation will contact you with pickup/drop-off details. Helpful to know: Routing may take up to 5 business days. Families may need to provide transportation to/from school until routing is finalized.
Snacks & Lunch
AM Students: Please send breakfast or a snack from home.
(Breakfast purchase is available AM only through the LINQ Connect App.)
PM Students: Please send lunch or a snack from home.
PM Students: Please send lunch or a snack from home.
(School lunch is not available for purchase in the PM session.)

• Please label all containers.
• Inform staff of any allergies.
• If your AM student arrives without a snack or breakfast item in their backpack, staff will assume your child is receiving school breakfast through their active LINQ Connect account or free/reduced meal status.
Helpful Tips for Day One
If arriving before 8:45 a.m., please wait in the Pre‑K Holding/Waiting Area on School Ave next to the curb in front of the crosswalk sign.
Look for the “Pre‑K Waiting” sign for reference.
Line up single‑file and remain idling in your car until a staff member releases cars to begin merging at 8:45a, into the drop‑off/pick‑up flow.
When merging, stay to the left side to enter the Pre‑K unloading/loading area.

Cones will mark the Pre‑K loading/unloading zone.

Send a labeled backpack with a change of clothes in a sealed bag.
If your child has medications or a health plan, coordinate with the school nurse/office in advance.
Verify your authorized pick-up list with the office; bring photo ID at pickup if requested.
Confirm your contact information is up to date and that your voicemail is set up to receive calls from Transportation and the school.
